about

Lyrically inspired by Ian Dury's "Reasons To Be Cheerful" - it even namechecks the man in the last verse. Pity I couldn't get Chas Jankel to produce it........The song title was a phrase a Canadian friend of mine used to say on a regular basis, when commenting on a variety of subjects - some not entirely appropriate.

lyrics

I’d be all over that
I would be there like a bad rash
I’d be all over that
Full coverage in a flash
Attaching like a cement glue

Invitation to a gathering, where I only know two people
Putting lawyers under oath whenever they are up in court
Never laughing at somebody who is certain they are funny
Comfort where I’m sat

Chorus

Monday evening after finishing a working day excited
Sunday dinner at the house of an amusing old friend
Saturday morning with you, doing something quite disgusting
A working laundromat

Chorus

Getting someone else to decorate whenever it is needed
Eating chicken with a crispy kind of skin on its back
Ian Dury singing “kippers in the grill” on “This Is What We Find”
A woman with some fat (in all the right places, if you know what I mean)

Chorus
